Our Patron Saint Festivities<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In honor of the Virgen del Rosario and San Roque | First weekend of August<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the height of summer, Pinos Genil dresses in its finest. Each day begins with the joy of the Diana Floreada<\/strong>, where the local brass band marches through the streets, inviting everyone to join the festivities from the early hours.<\/p>\n

One of the most anticipated highlights is the iconic Carrera de Cintas<\/strong> (Ribbon Race), a traditional game of skill where cyclists compete to hook small rings with a wooden peg.<\/p>\n

Religious devotion takes to the streets during the solemn procession<\/strong> of our patron saints following the official Mass, winding through the village\u2019s picturesque alleys. The grand finale is the Popular Romer\u00eda<\/strong> (Pilgrimage), held near the “F\u00e1brica de la Luz.” Amidst music and vibrant flamenco dresses, locals and visitors alike toast to community spirit in a unique natural setting.<\/p>\n

  • October: The Scent of Autumn<\/strong> On the last Saturday of the month, we celebrate the Chestnut Festival<\/strong>, a flavorful day that prepares us for the coming chill.<\/li>\n
  • December: A Picture-Perfect Christmas<\/strong> As December arrives, Pinos Genil is transformed by its charming holiday lights, turning the village into a living Christmas card.
