A year has passed since this great historic moment, where we began our journey. Of all the images of that day, we are left with the emotional photo of the unveiling of the commemorative plaque, by the renowned painter Vida Juanvida and the mayor @Gabriel Gomez Mesa.
The Centro de Interpretación Tranvía de la Sierra is a magnificent project resulting from the efforts of the Ayuntamiento de Pinos Genil to recover our heritage, creating a living cultural space, which aims to rescue the memory of the Sierra Nevada Tramway, honour its promoter the Duke San Pedro de Galatino and all the people who were part of its history. In addition to paying a well-deserved tribute to one of the most fascinating women and fighters for women’s equality, our dear Berta Wilhelmi.
